United States v. Ross
Scope and Contents
No. 73-2256; 503 F.2d 940 (1974) Judges Wisdom and Goldberg tended at conference toward reversal, on authority of Gagnon v. Scarpelli, 411 U.S. 778 (1973). Judge Lynne was to dissent. The Wisdom opinion, however, would hold on other grounds with Judge Lynne to file a special concurrence. Includes memorandum of Judge Gee on the merits. Also includes TLS of Chief Judge Brown and other memoranda on Van Blaircom v. Forscht, 473 F.2d 1323 (1973), Cottle v. Wainwright, 477 F.2d 269 (1973), and Lane v. Attorney General, 477 F.2d 847 (1973).
