Labat v. Bennett Judge Gewin circulated a dissent containing certain language Judge Wisdom found objectionable. Judge Wisdom revised his opinion, and suggested that the Gewin dissent be in turn revised, which it was. Judge Bell was prompted to substitute a redrafted opinion for his special concurrence. This caused Judge Gewin once again to revise his dissent. Includes proposed dissent of Judge Gewin; and, TLS of Judge Gewin on the dissent. Also includes TLS (2) of Judge Wisdom on the dissent and on revisions made in the majority opinion; revised dissent of Judge Gewin; and TLS of Judge Gewin on the revised dissent. And includes revised concurrence of Judge Bell; TLS of Judge Bell and TLS of Judge Wisdom on the revision; and, TLS of Judge Gewin on final revision of his dissent. And includes TLS of Judge Joseph S. Lord III (E.D. Pa.) on the Wisdom opinion. And inculdes TLS of Judge Rives on his opinion in Goins v. Allgood, 391 F.2d 692 (1968) and referring to Labat and Brooks.
